About

Numbers have always felt like home.

I grew up around financial advisors and finance professionals, and I've found comfort in math and numbers ever since.

My career has followed that instinct into the engine room of growing businesses. I'm the person beside the owner who turns a messy, fast-moving operation into clear numbers, solid systems, and decisions people can act on.

I've been a Chief of Staff, a Director of Finance, and a project manager juggling up to 2,000 projects at once. In every role, I've ended up as the person leadership trusts to make sense of complex situations, and I like it that way.

I'm married to a five-time entrepreneur, so I've seen up close what it takes to build something, and what owners need from the person in the seat next to them. Now I want to bring that to a firm that backs the builders.

What I care about

The why and the how.

In 2018, I spoke at TEDxYouthFortWorth (as Marissa Brann) on the reality of human trafficking.

Alongside the talk, I wrote an economics research paper that applied market-structure theory (supply and demand, rational choice, and monopolistic competition) to explain how the trafficking market grows. The talk was the why; the paper was the how.

Protecting children is still the cause closest to my heart. And I believe real leadership needs both: the ability to take a complex system apart with data, and the courage to stand up for a better way forward.

How I work

Give me a mess and I'll find the structure in it.

Energetic, organized, and proactive, and at my best juggling a lot of moving pieces at once.

01

Ownership

I take full responsibility for the outcome, then look for the next problem nobody has claimed yet.

02

Precision

Federal audits taught me to work with zero margin for error. The details matter, and I don't let them slide.

03

Momentum

I keep priorities moving across teams, owners, and deadlines so nothing stalls on the way to the goal.

"She took full ownership of her responsibilities and completed her work with accuracy and timeliness — and beyond that, actively sought out additional projects, always looking for ways to contribute more."

Outside of work

Based in Utah, usually on the move.

You'll find me at Pilates or yoga, on a trail, at the gym, with a good book, or planning the next get-together. I love throwing events. I've run community events of up to 150 guests for FlowHaus, helped bring in brand partners like Traeger and Sundance Mountain Resort, and hosted graduations and new-student kickoffs at Acaydia.
